Sweet Millet Casserole with Apples

– coarsely grated spices, according to oh taste – cinnamon, vanilla, cloves – coriander oriander and anise nuts, chopped chopped.

Soak dried apricots (or dried figs) in a little water. Boil water with salt, stir in millet and make 5 min. Soak for 30 to 40 min on low heat. Stir the layered cheese or curd with the oil. Add apple slices, chopped figs or apricots and honey (adjust the amount of honey according to how sweet the apples are). Add coarsely grated almonds or nuts and spices. Mix everything well and fill into a greased baking dish, sprinkle with butter flakes and chopped nuts, bake for 30 to 45 min at 180 to 200 C. Serve with vanilla sauce.

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
