Roasted Figs with Vanilla Sauce

For the caramel sauce:


For roasted figs with vanilla sauce, remove the stems from the figs and cut them crosswise at the top. Heat butter in a pan and fry the figs in it. Add sugar and pour port wine.

Saute figs for about 4 minutes over low heat until soft. Meanwhile, toast the sliced almonds and pumpkin seeds in a pan without fat.

For the caramel sauce, caramelize the sugar in a pan until light brown. Add butter and liquid whipped cream and let caramel dissolve over low heat.

Blend vanilla ice cream with hand mixer until smooth and stir in whipped cream. Spread the vanilla ice cream sauce on plates and place the roasted figs on top.

Drizzle the caramel sauce over it and sprinkle roasted almonds and pumpkin seeds on top.
