Try this delicious cake recipe:

Bring honey to a boil, remove from the stove and fold in the sifted flour. Cool slightly. Melt the potash in rum, knead it with the eggs and spices into the honey-flour mixture and let it rest for about 3 hours.

Spread the dough on the grease pan of the oven lined with parchment paper. Press 2 almond kernels together at intervals into the dough. Mix egg yolk and whipped cream, brush the cake with it and bake in the heated oven at 200 °C for about 20 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with ground almonds before serving.
