For the Dutch cheese and sausage salad, first cut meat sausage into medium-sized cubes. Cut the edam into sticks. Remove the skin from the cucumber and cut into cubes. Remove the carrots, peppers, cucumbers and silver onions from the mixed pickles and let them drain. Use the rest for other purposes.
Remove the skin from the apples and cut into small cubes. Rinse and clean the spring onions and cut into rings. Put all the ingredients in a large enough bowl. Rinse and trim the chives. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Prepare dressing according to instructions. Add mustard, chives and garlic and season with pepper.
Pour the dressing over the Dutch cheese and sausage salad and let it sit well.
