Cut bread rolls into small cubes and pour hot milk. Sauté onion and parsley in butter and season with salt. Mix soaked bread with onion and parsley, add eggs and maybe a little bit of flour and make a dumpling dough. Form dumplings with wet hands and cook in simmering salted water. If you want to make “Kasknödel” (cheese dumplings), mix 250 g of grated cheese (mountain cheese or Tilsiter) into the bread mixture.
