For the dotted Christmas cake, first prepare the cake pops for the dots in the cake. To do this, simply mix all the cake pops ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer until creamy.

Then divide the batter into two bowls and color half of the batter with red food coloring, the other half with green.

With the help of piping bags, or with teaspoons, pour the batter into the cake pops mold and bake at 170 °C in a bird-heated oven for 16 minutes. Repeat the baking process with the remaining batter.

Remove the colorful balls from the mold and let them cool on a cooling rack.

In the meantime, prepare the batter. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Cream the butter with the sugar, egg yolks, salt and vanilla sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the butter mixture in batches. Finally, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.

Grease two springform pans of the same size with butter and divide the cake pops between the two pans. Then fill both molds with equal amounts of cake batter and bake one after the other in a preheated oven at 160 °C for 45 minutes.

Do a stick test and let the cakes cool in the molds for 5 minutes first and then let them cool on a large cooling rack.

For the cinnamon cream, mix all the ingredients together and color with a little red food coloring. Spread one cake layer with the cream, place the second one on top and cover the cake completely with the cinnamon cream.
