For Hungarian potato casserole, toast the breadcrumbs in 1 tablespoon of butter.
Peel the potatoes and eggs and cut them into thin slices, cut the sausages into thin slices as well.
Butter an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs. Lay a layer of potato slices, then a layer of eggs and sausages. Season lightly with salt and pour a little melted butter over it, then spread some sour cream on top. Keep on layering until all the potatoes are used up. The last layer should be potatoes with sour cream.
Sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs and bake Hungarian potato casserole at 180 °C for half an hour until light brown.
