For the Serbian style carp, peel and boil the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Cut the smoked bacon into narrow strips. Cut the top of the washed carp fillets with a sharp knife and fill the spaces with the bacon strips. Cut the onion and peppers into rings. Cut the tomato at the stem, dip it briefly in hot water, peel, seed and cut into thin slices. Grease an ovenproof casserole dish with lard and line it first with the potato slices. Place the fish fillets on top, salt, bell pepper and then cover with the bell pepper and onion rings and tomatoes. Baste with melted butter. Place the dish in the oven preheated at 190 °C and cook for about 20 to 25 minutes. Whisk flour and sour cream well and spread regularly over the casserole mixture. Bake for another 20 minutes.
