A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla sugar, gradually add 3 eggs. Add the flour sifted with the baking powder, Pour the batter into a greased cake springform pan, spread smoothly and bake over medium heat until golden brown. Now stir the sugar with the grated citrus peel, orange juice and juice of a lemon and pour over the cake, continue baking for another 10 min.

Tip: Baking pans are made of metal, earthenware or fireproof glass. In any case, they must be greased and, in the case of delicate dough, dusted with semolina or flour. Cake doughs unfold better in the cake springform pan if only its base is greased and not the rim.
