For the chicken saté skewers with rice, first prepare the marinade for the chicken. Peel the garlic and onions. In a blender, puree onions, lemongrass, garlic, ginger and turmeric to a paste.
Add sugar, cilantro, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, tamarind juice and coconut milk.
Cut the meat into finger-thick strips, marinate and refrigerate.
Then put on wooden skewers and grill or fry in a pan with a little oil.
Finely chop the peanuts or grind them in a blender.
Bring coconut milk to a boil, add peanuts and peanut butter, season with curry paste and season to taste.
Prepare the rice according to package instructions. Add a little butter flakes just before serving. Serve the chicken saté skewers with rice.
