Campari orange is the standard drink at standing receptions, usually orange juice is mixed with Campari from a bag or bottle. And that tastes pretty boring. Next time, try it like this:

Pour Campari into a large wine glass over three or four ice cubes. Chop up a large piece of orange peel, making sure not a shred of white inner skin remains on it, and squeeze it between your thumb and forefinger over the glass. Drop the entire piece into the glass. Either serve plain or top up with a shot each of sparkling champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice. Pin a piece of orange to the rim of the glass and decorate with a sprig of mint.
