For the Bircher Porridge, first boil the oatmeal with water and salt. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the desired consistency is reached. In between, stir again and again.

In the meantime, remove the core of the apple and grate the flesh. Mix with a little lemon juice.

Coarsely chop the nuts.

Sweeten the porridge with a little honey.

Then stir in the remaining ingredients.

Serve Bircher Porridge garnished with nuts and apple chips.
