For the breakfast porridge, swell the 5-grain flakes with milk and water and the Chai Küsschen spice for about 20 minutes and then simmer gently over medium heat.

After a few minutes, turn down the heat a bit and thicken to desired consistency. Stir occasionally as you do this.

Mash the banana with a fork, stir it into the porridge towards the end with the washed berries and let it steep briefly.

If the breakfast porridge is not sweet enough, sweeten with honey or maple syrup.
