Pasta dishes are always a good idea!
Make pasta in salted water and drain. They can also be from the day before. Spread a gratin dish alternately with pasta and the ham cut into small pieces. In between always drip a little bit of cream, also season lightly with salt and sprinkle grated cheese. On top there should be a layer of noodles. Put butter flakes on top and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Note: The quantities given in this Swabian recipe are the minimum of the food needed. Especially the proportions of ham, sour cream and butter can be increased without detracting from the taste.
Another way to prepare it: mix all the ingredients together and add 2 to 3 eggs, then butter the mold well, pour it in and continue as in the basic recipe.
