A cake recipe for all foodies:
Prepare a dough from flour, juice of one lemon, oil, salt and water and roll it out (3 cm x 25 cm). Cut the dough into four strips and cut them into smaller strips. Roll up the strips over four fingers, press the end smooth and bake in hot oil. Use forks to turn the curl to the other side so that the round shape is not lost. When they are golden, drain on kitchen paper.
For the syrup, simmer the water with sugar and cinnamon stick for ten minutes. Finally, add honey and juice of one lemon. Dip the drained squiggles in the syrup and drain on a wire rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon powder and chopped nuts.
