For the spring roll wrapper basic recipe, first put the flour in a bowl, stir in the water little by little, always in one direction, until the dough is soft and smooth. If you like, you can still work eggs into the dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for about 1/2 hour.

Now roll out the dough and cut squares from it about 12 cm long. Bake them on a tray brushed with oil (180 °C, a few minutes). The dough must not turn brown!

The baked spring roll wrappers are placed on a flat surface and covered with a damp cloth until use.
