Melt the butter. Knead a firm dough from butter, eggs, flour, milk and salt. Rest the dough for half an hour. In a saucepan, put salted water and let it boil. Cut spaetzle with a teaspoon, make them in boiling water for 5 min and pull them for 10 min. The spaetzle are ready when they rise to the surface of the water.
The spaetzle taste good with meat dishes with sauces, lentils or possibly game dishes.
