Instructions:

For the pile with vanilla sauce, cut the rolls (or brioche) into slices about 2 cm thick. Wash, core and finely slice the apples or pears. Mix in a bowl with cinnamon and possibly the rum raisins.

Butter the baking pan of the Philips Airfryer hot air fryer.

Separate 3 eggs, mix the yolks well with the milk and the 3 whole beaten eggs. Set the 3 egg whites aside.

Dip the bread slices in the egg milk and place in the mold. Spread apples or pears on top. Place a 2nd layer of bread slices (brioche) dipped in egg milk on top, spread remaining egg milk on top. Bake at 165 °C in the Philiips Airfryer for about 25-30 minutes.

Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, sift in granulated sugar and beat until completely dissolved. Spread the snow on the pyre and smooth it out, finish baking for another 5 minutes at 175 °C. Allow to cool slightly, portion.

Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan with the vanilla pod cut in half lengthwise and scraped out. Mix the cornflour with a little milk or water and the egg yolks until smooth and stir into the boiling milk.

Remove from the heat, remove the vanilla bean and serve the pile with vanilla sauce immediately.
