For the Mini Mulled Wine Gugelhupf, heat the lemons, cinnamon stick, red wine and orange zest with a tablespoon of sugar. Cool and pour through a sieve.

Beat butter until creamy, gradually add half of the sugar. Separate the eggs. Mix in cinnamon powder, chocolate, egg yolks and mulled wine.

Whip the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff and add to the mulled wine mixture. Now sift flour and baking powder on top and mix loosely with a whisk.

Fill the well-buttered ramekins 2/3 full with batter and bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 175 degrees. Cool.

Remove from the ramekins and dust the Mini Glühwein Gugelhupf with powdered sugar.
