Instructions:

Scrub the lemons carefully with hot water, then remove the peel very thinly (there should be nothing “white” on the peel – bitter). Put the lemon peels in a large glass bottle (with a large opening) form. Add the alcohol. Close the bottle and let it stand for a week. Shake from time to time. At the end of the week, bring the sugar and water to a boil together and cool. Add the cooled sugar water to the alcohol and lemon peel in the bottle form. Leave to stand for another week. Strain the liqueur and fill it into bottles. The Limoncello must be drunk ice cold, i.e. a bottle is always in the freezer !!!!. The glasses should also be pre-chilled. Don’t worry, the bottle won’t break because the alcohol content is over 40%.

But potato spirit will do.
