For the Ruck-Zuck fruit cake, preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Line a deep baking tray with baking paper. Then mix the water with the oil and add the eggs one by one.
Then fold in the flour and sugar. Then stir in the baking powder, vanilla sugar and lemon zest. Carefully spread the batter onto the baking sheet (with baking paper).
Wash the peaches, cut them into wedges and place them on the dough. Bake in the oven for about 35-40 minutes (don’t forget to test with a stick).
After the baking time let it cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
