A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Knead yeast dough. Warmed grams turn through a meat grinder and form into the yeast dough. Roll out dough and cut into pieces (“Zettel”) of any size. Let them rise, brush with egg yolk and bake until light brown.

For kids, you can also sprinkle them with sugar before baking.
