For the Christmas Matcha Tiramisu, squeeze the lime. Place the lime juice in a mixing bowl with 1 ½ tsp matcha powder, the powdered sugar, the lemon liqueur and 30 g water and whisk on low speed with the beaters of the hand mixer.

Place the sugar and egg yolks in a separate mixing bowl and beat with the whisks of the hand mixer until thick and creamy. Add the mascarpone and crème fraîche and fold in.

Line the baking dish with half of the amarettini. Drizzle them with half of the matcha mixture, then spread half of the mascarpone cream on top. Repeat this process again in the same way.

Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 8 hrs or overnight.

For the decoration, cut out a fir tree stencil from paper. Shortly before serving, dust a Christmas tree onto the Christmas matcha tiramisu with the remaining matcha powder and “hang” the pomegranate seeds on it as Christmas tree balls.
