Cut the meat loaf into strips. Cut onion into narrow rings. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Fry onion rings until golden brown. Add meat loaf and fry briefly. Remove onion and meat loaf from frying pan. Add the vegetables to the frying pan unthawed, add 150 ml water. Bring to a boil and gently simmer at low temperature for 3-5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cut the chives into rolls. Briefly heat the meatloaf and onion in the vegetables. Season with salt and a pinch of nutmeg. Sprinkle with chives.

Tip: As an alternative to fresh chives, you can also use the freeze-dried ones.
