A bean recipe for every taste:

1. drain beans. Clean, rinse and cut Chinese cabbage into strips. Peel and rinse potatoes and cut into thin slices or possibly slice. Layer vegetables and potatoes in flakes in a greased casserole dish.

Remove the peel from the onion and garlic. Finely dice onion, press garlic through a garlic press. Rinse sage and chop, except for a few leaves for garnish. Grate cheese.

Mix sour milk, egg, whipping cream, garlic, sage, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over gratin and sprinkle with cheese. Spread butter flakes evenly on the gratin and bake in the heated oven (electric stove: 200 °C /moving air: 175 °C /gas: level 3) for 45-50 minutes. Sprinkle with colored pepper and garnish with sage.
