Instructions:

For bobotie, first soak bread in 125 ml of milk, squeeze and mix with mince.

Add all ingredients except milk, oil, eggs and bay leaves and mix.

Heat oil in pan and brown mixture over low heat. Put meat measures in a baking dish.

Mix eggs with milk and spread evenly over the mince.

Spread the bay leaves on top and bake bobotie at 180 °C for 35-45 minutes until the surface is lightly browned.
