Pit cherries. Finely grate chocolate. Separate eggs.
Cream butter, add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add egg yolks one at a time and beat until light and fluffy.
Add rum and cinnamon. Mix flour, breadcrumbs and baking powder, stir into the cream together with the chocolate and almonds.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in well. Finally, mix in the cherries.
Pour the mixture into the springform pan lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for one hour.
Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar.
