With the dark cherry cake grate chocolate. Cream butter in food processor until creamy. Separate 3 eggs. Add 2 eggs, yolks, powdered sugar gradually alternating until creamy. Beat egg whites until stiff.
Mix milk chocolate, breadcrumbs and almonds. Fold both into the yolk mixture. Preheat oven to 150°C. Grease the springform pan and dust with flour.
Pour in batter and top with washed and dried sour cherries. Bake cake for about 60 minutes, increasing heat constantly to 180°C.
Check with a chopstick if the dark cherry cake is ready.
