For the cheese and onion cake, cut the onion into small cubes and fry in oil until translucent. Blend the Cottage Cheese with freshly grated Parmesan and the eggs in a blender until smooth, then add the bacon cubes and onion.

Season with salt, pepper and herbs. Pour into a greased quiche dish (or pie dish) and bake in a preheated oven at about 170 °C for 60 minutes.

Cut the green of the young onion into rings and drape on the cheese and onion cake.
