For the surprise eggs, first carefully decapitate the top third of 10 eggs and empty them. Use the contents for omelets or other, only the shells are needed. Wash egg shells well with hot water and pat dry.

Beat the margarine with the sugar until creamy. Gradually add the remaining two eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and fold in the vanilla sugar. Sift everything onto the mixture, and fold in the liqueur. Pour the batter into a piping bag.

Grease the egg shells well and fill them halfway with the batter. Put the salt in a mold and place the eggs in the salt with the opening facing up. Bake the eggs in the heated oven at 180-200 °C for 20 minutes.

Take out the surprise eggs and let them cool down.
