For the vanilla sticks, knead flour and butter in a food processor until crumbly. Then add ground nuts, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar and knead into a smooth dough.

Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. After resting, remove from the refrigerator, make rolls of the dough about 1 cm thick and cut 4 cm long pieces.

Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 12 minutes.

As soon as the sticks have some color, remove them from the oven. Allow to cool briefly and toss in the dusting and vanilla sugar mixture. Serve the vanilla stanglers.
