For Thirsty Nun separate the eggs and beat the egg whites. Cream the yolks with the sugar, mix in the breadcrumbs and fold in the snow. Pour everything into a greased and floured cake pan.
Bake at medium heat. Boil the wine with the cloves and pour over the finished (cooled) Gugelhupf, before serving.
If the wine is too sour, you can add a little sugar.
