Instructions:

Peel oranges neatly, cut into fine slices and then into small pieces and keep ready in a baking bowl.

Bring water to a boil with sugar, mix in cornstarch (maize starch) dissolved in a little water and bring to a boil again.

Add pulp (with juice that has escaped) and heat, stirring, but do not let it bubble up.

Bring orange tea to table hot in tea bowls.
