Pasta dishes are always a good idea!
Chop the onion and garlic very finely and sauté in a little olive oil, then add the finely chopped half bell pepper and lightly steam everything together for a few min. Add the peeled and strained tomatoes that have been scalded with boiling water, season with salt and pepper from the mill and finally add the halved and pitted olives. (Set aside a few olive halves for garnish.) Make the sauce about 20 minutes. Cook the pasta in enough salted water until al dente, drain well and arrange in a large baking dish with the prepared sauce and cheese. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and garnish with the olive halves. Serve immediately.
