For the potato salad, boil the potatoes, peel, let cool and cut into slices. Pour the warm soup over the potato slices and let it infuse.

Chop the onion, pickles and eggs and add to the potatoes. Mix sugar, salt and pepper, vinegar and oil and season the potato salad.

Serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
