Instructions:

Place water, salt and fat in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.

Once the water boils, add the long-grain rice and stir once to dissolve any lumps that may be present.

Reduce the heat, wet a large dishcloth and fold a few times.

Cover the pot with it, put the lid on and cook the long grain rice for 20 minutes.
