For the Korean style cooked rice, first wash the rice in cold water at least three times.
Put the rice in a pot and pour twice the volume of rice in water. Then let it sit in a cool place for about 30 minutes.
Cover the pot. Start cooking it on high heat until the water starts to boil. Then cook it for another 20 minutes, covered, on low heat.
Take the rice off the heat and let it sit for at least 5 more minutes.
You can now serve the Korean style cooked rice with any dishes.
