For the pea bacon soup, boil the peas in salted water until soft. Finely chop the onion and fry it in the fat, add the finely chopped bacon. Deglaze with the cooking water of the peas.

Mash part of the peas, then add the peas to the deglazed onions/bacon and dust with flour.
