A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Drain the tangerines. For the batter, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add a little at a time. Liquidize the light butter and fold it in.

Spread a tray with parchment paper and pour the batter on it, smoothing the surface. Spread the tangerines evenly on top and bake the cake at 175 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat for about thirty to thirty-five minutes.

For the icing, squeeze the lemon. First, stir only three quarters of the juice with the powdered sugar. The amount should be thick rather than runny. Add the rest of the juice only as needed. Spread the glaze on the cake while it is still hot.

Tip: The tangerine cake tastes best if it is left to infuse for a day.
