Sauté onions in hot butter until light. Stir in tomato paste and fry briefly. Reduce heat, add paprika powder and stir well. Stir in flour and pour in fish stock or soup. Season to taste with salt, pepper and the finely chopped garlic clove and simmer for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, quarter peppers, remove seeds and boil in salted water for 2-3 minutes, rinse with cold water and chop. Add the diced peppers to the soup and cook briefly. It is best to blend in a tower blender or with a hand blender and then strain (to remove the bell pepper skins and any seeds). If the soup is thickened more with flour, it will make a paprika sauce. Serve with carp gnocchi or plain carp dumplings. For the carp dumplings, first finely mince the boned carp fillet. Season with salt, possibly some vermouth and finely chopped herbs according to taste and put in a cold place. Form small dumplings from the cold mass, place in salted water or fish stock and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Before serving, briefly foam up the soup or sauce again and serve with the drained carp dumplings, the colorful diced peppers and a sprig of dill.
