Nougat Mousse with Chocolate Chips

Bring the milk to the boil. Mix in the nougat, coffee powder and sugar. Dissolve and cool.

Soak the gelatine in cold water and let it melt dripping wet in a small saucepan at low temperature.

Add to the nougat cream form while stirring. Place the mixture in the refrigerator.

Whip the cream until stiff. When the nougat mixture begins to gel, stir in the whipped cream. Fill the nougat mousse into dessert bowls and chill until ready to serve.

Chop the cooking chocolate and melt it in a hot water bath. Spread on a marble slab, set. Lift off in shavings with a spatula and garnish the mousse with it before serving.

Tip: Feel free to use better chocolate – the more delicious the result!
