Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes of about 2 cm, rinse, drain and dry. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Pluck the marjoram leaves from the stems. 2.

Heat the lard in a large frying pan with a lid.

Fry the bacon and potatoes until they take on a little color. Add half of the marjoram, season with salt and pepper and extinguish with the white wine. Sauté over medium heat with the lid on for 20 minutes, tossing frequently.

Arrange the potatoes on a platter, sprinkle with the remaining marjoram and serve with the boiled beef.

Our tip: Use bacon with a fine, smoky note!
