For the lentils, soak the lentils in water overnight. Drain the lentils and boil them with fresh water, 1 cm above the lentils, with bay leaf, thyme and lemon peel until soft, about 1/2 hour.

Fry the bacon cubes in the oil, add the flour and lightly brown it, pour the cooking water of the lentils and add the soup powder as a substitute for salt.
