Indian Bean Pan with Lentils

Instructions:

Rinse and clean the beans. Remove the skin from the onion. Finely shred. Peel and crush the garlic. Steam ginger, garlic and onion briefly in oil.

Finely chop the chili pepper. Add to onion and garlic with turmeric.

Steam for another 2 minutes.

Remove the skin from the tomatoes, chop coarsely and add with 100 ml hot tap water. Continue to sauté while stirring.

Add the beans and lentils. Stir, and cover and simmer gently for15 min. Season with juice of one lemon and salt. Sprinkle with lovage. Serve with long-grain rice.
