Instructions:

For the gratinated ham dumplings, mix flour with eggs, oil, salt and milk. With the help of a dumpling strainer, pour into boiling water.

Cook the dumplings for about 8 minutes and strain. Place the dumplings in a very large baking dish.

For the sauce, finely chop the onion and sauté in the butter together with the squeezed garlic cloves. Cut the ham into small pieces, add and fry briefly.

Pour in beef broth and add the chopped chives. Then stir in the whipped cream and season with salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture over the dumplings and sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 25 minutes. Serve the gratinated ham dumplings.
