For the ham and cream spaetzle, first prepare the dumplings. For this, quickly mix the flour with the eggs, milk, melted butter and a pinch of salt.
When the water boils, add a pinch of salt and drop in the dumplings with a sieve. Cook for about 5 minutes and strain.
Cut the ham into small pieces and fry in a pan with a little butter. Add the gnocchi and stir in the sour cream.
Season well with salt and pepper and mix in the chives as well. Finally, mix in the grated cheese and serve. It goes well with a green salad.
