A bean recipe for every taste:
In hot butter fat, cook onions until translucent. Add the drained beans, the savory, a little water and salt. Put the chin cheek on top of the beans and cook. Cover the pot. In about 20 minutes the beans are soft and the chin cheek is cooked. If necessary, pre-cook the chin bake (pull gently).
Kinnbäckle are a Black Forest specialty. It is the cheek (cheek) of the pig with or without the jaw. Kinnbäckle are cured and smoked.
