Sift flour onto a tabletop and push a bulge into the center. Pour in egg, cinnamon, sugar and whipped cream. Mix with some of the flour to form a thick paste. Add butter in flakes on top and knead everything together to form a smooth dough.

Shape dough into rolls about 1/2 cm in diameter. Cut this into 12 cm pieces each, fold into pretzels and spread with canned milk. Mix hail sugar and chopped almond kernels, sprinkle on pretzels and press down a little.

Place the pretzels on a greased baking tray and bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
