For the Christmas dessert, heat the thawed berries in the mulled wine without bringing it to the boil. Let simmer gently for a few minutes. In the meantime, soak the gelatin according to package directions and then squeeze well.
Stir the gelatine into the berry mixture.Pour into nice dessert glasses and let cool.
Break vanilla crescents and sprinkle over the firm berry mixture. Pour a generous amount of vanilla ice cream on top.
Decorate with a vanilla croissant before serving.
