Mix all ingredients except sugar and tap water, place in a glass jar or bottle and leave neatly sealed for 8 days.
Boil a syrup from tap water and sugar until it draws threads (use wooden spoon). Allow to cool.
Pour the fruit schnapps through a cloth sieve (or a crockery hanger) and add the sugar syrup.
Keep well closed in bottles. The older the liqueur, the more sophisticated its taste. It can also be enjoyed on the spot.
